Energy Saving Rebates and Programs
Residents who purchase an ENERGY STAR clothes washer, electric clothes dryer, dish washer, refrigerator, freezer, dehumidifier, room air conditioner, or air purifier may apply for an ENERGY STAR Appliance Rebate.

Residents who have a qualified contractor install ENERGY STAR central air conditioning or an electric heat pump may apply for a Rebate Credit of up to $500. For ENERGY STAR qualification ratings, see below:
Residents who purchase and install a qualified ENERGY STAR electric fuel source heat pump water heater may apply for a Rebate Credit of up to $750. For further information on ENERGY STAR certified electric fuel source heat pump water heaters, visit ENERGY STAR.
Filter for the following:
“Fuel Source” = Electric “Type” = Heat Pump
Look for pumps with a Uniformed Energy Factor of 2.3 or greater.
Residents who purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified electric car battery charger may apply for a Rebate Credit of up to $250.
For photovoltaic (PV) installations, HLPD offers a rebate of $1 or $1.25 per watt of installed capacity depending upon orientation. For further information, please see the Terms and Conditions within the PV Incentive Program Application and Distributed General Installation Requirements.
HLPD purchases excess generation from customers with Distributed Generation (DG), such as solar, wind turbines, etc., at a tariff based upon the monthly Power Adjustment Charge.
